Mr. & Mrs. Laurence A. Allen were joined in marriage on June 21, 1958. They celebrated their 50 year union on June 21, 2008, in a ceremony that included their three children, four grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
The bride and groom were striking in their ivory formal attire. The ceremony was very intimate with brass candle towers at the altar. The aisle was covered with an ivory and gold personalized runner complete with photos of the couple then and now.
The reception was intimate also with a combination of hurricane lamp centerpieces and trumpet vases centerpiece lamps. The golden anniversary theme was reflected in the reception decor with gold and ivory linens.
The event will be one to remember...

Matthew Johnson and the former, Lakeisha Rivers tied the knot on Saturday, June 7, 2008. When they came to Celebrate Life in late, 2007, they had only chosen their color scheme. After consulting and reviewing our portfolio, we collaborated on a soft, elegant, pink event.The huge bridal party of 30 persons apart from the bride and groom looked very attractive accross the front of the church. The bridesmaids wore soft pink with primrose accents and the groomsmen were dashing in grey suits with pink ties and hankerchiefs. The bridal party traveled in an all equipped Party Bus.
The cermony decor consisted of pink silk draping on the pews with lily floral pew hangers, a personalized runner with a scripture and the couple's photo. Two 10 ft white pillars stood at the center of the altar with white bridal illusion draping.
The reception decor was very soft with pink linens and grey runners. The head table was covered in pink linen and skirting and draped with grey organza.
The bride was striking in her white, ballroom style, strapless gown and the groom quite dapper in his custom made suit, shirt and ascot. It was an event to remember!

When Marguerita Floyd and Kevin Chapman met, they each recognized the hand of God guiding them toward one another. They had ideas of a wedding to be remembered. The event would be something simple yet elegant.

To provide a contrast in color, we selected mint green organza chaircovers;

Their cake was a combination of flavors; chocolate marble pound, lemon pound, raspberry pound and chocolate chip pound. A cascade of sugar calla lilies adorned the layers and two mother's cakes with each of their names were added to the base.
